The forest of Riskjaer is 20ha and is the neighbor to other big forests between Viborg and Skive in Jutland – about 9km from the bay of Limfjorden. The lake of Birkesø with hiking and swimming possibilities is a 2km walk or a 6.5km drive from the forest of Riskjaer.
The cottage is newly built in 2008 and is an optimal holiday home with a sleeping capacity of up to 11 people. The cottage is 175 square meters and has on the ground floor a kitchen, two bathrooms, and a living room with fireplace. The upper floor has 4 rooms, and a landing with a panoramic view of a meadow. Large windows make you feel part of the natural surroundings. In an attached building there is a 40 square meters room with the possibility to gather 30 people for a course or family meeting.
